What is Give Sweetly?

Give Sweetly is a candy and chocolate fundraising program created by The Honey Den, a candy store located in West Branch, Iowa. We partner with schools, PTOs, sports teams, student groups, and nonprofits to make fundraising easy, fun, and profitable. Instead of selling the same old fundraising products, your supporters get high-quality chocolate and gummi mixes they’ll actually love.
How does the fundraising program work?

It’s simple! Your group chooses from our fundraiser options, shares the order forms (or online shop link), and collects orders. We prepare the candy and chocolate bags and ship them directly to you or your supporters. Your organization keeps 50% of every Gummi sale and 40% of every Chocolate sale.

Gummi Mixes – Available in 1lb and 2lb bags with fun themes like Original, Sour, Sweet & Sour Showdown, and seasonal Holiday Mixes.

Chocolates* – Rich, decadent treats packaged in our signature Mason Jar Bags.

*Please note: Chocolate fundraisers are available October-March. To ensure quality, we do not ship chocolate in the summer or to warmer climates in winter. If you have questions about availability, our team is happy to help!

How do I start a fundraiser?

What platforms are available for fundraising?
Online – Share a fundraising link with your supporters. They can select pickup from your organization or pay for direct shipping. Some groups choose online-only sales with shipping required, which eliminates handling distribution and saves the group the 5% shipping fee.

Brochure – Your organization distributes brochures (we provide them), collects payments, and submits one bulk order at the end. We ship the order to your group for distribution.

Hybrid – Combine brochures and online ordering for maximum reach.
How do our supporters receive their orders?
Online shipping option – We ship products directly to your supporters.

Brochure and online pick-up option – Products are shipped to your organization for distribution.

Your group pays a maximum of 5% of the total order for shipping, and we cover the rest.
What if we don’t want to handle product distribution?

For most Give Sweetly fundraisers, your organization will pay no more than 5% of your total order toward shipping costs — and we cover the rest!

Supporters who place online orders can choose to:

Pay for shipping directly and have their candy or chocolate fundraiser items sent straight to their door, or

Select pickup from your organization if your group is handling distribution.

We always work to find the most cost-effective and reliable shipping options so your fundraiser earns as much profit as possible.
How do we receive our earnings?
When you sign up for your fundraiser, you will include payment information, so we know where to send your earnings.

For online orders, your organization will receive earnings directly to your bank account 4-7 business days after the fundraiser ends.

For brochure sales (or hybrid fundraisers), we’ll combine totals and either send you a secure payment link or deposit what’s owed to you, depending on your setup.
